The End is the least visited location in all of Minecraft. This is primarily due to the difficulty in reaching it. First, you need to locate a stronghold, which typically requires a significant number of Ender Pearls and Blaze Powder to craft Eyes of Ender. After that, you’ll have to clear out the stronghold and find the room containing the portal. Well, you’ve made it halfway; now you just need to gather more Eyes of Ender to activate the portal!
Upon your arrival in the Realm, you won’t be greeted by a red carpet, an orchestra, or a festive banquet; instead, you’ll encounter an enraged dragon. Defeat it using your cunning, honed skills, and a bit of luck. After that, scroll through the extensive list of heroic individuals who dedicated their time and effort to crafting your beloved Minecraft, and only then will you be able to embark on an adventure into the game’s most mysterious and ominous dimension!
Today, we will discuss my absolute favorite part of this dimension — the End Highlands! The End consists of five distinct biomes. The first one, rather surprisingly, is called the End, where the battle with the Ender Dragon takes place. Once you defeat it, you can proceed to the ring of floating islands. The smallest biome is made up of the End Islands. Meanwhile, the largest biome is divided into several sections: the plains, the outskirts, and finally, our destination — the End Highlands.
You will recognize that you have entered the right biome by the towering chorus trees that exclusively thrive in this environment. However, if luck is on your side, you might also spot a massive purple structure adorned with glowing yellow windows. This marks the beginning of the End City, teeming with shulkers, ender chests, rods, and purpur blocks.
You might come across an even rarer structure resembling a ship. If you do, consider yourself incredibly lucky! Inside lies a treasure trove containing some of the most valuable trophies in Minecraft Bedrock. Don’t let the allure of the End’s treasures cloud your judgment and always stay vigilant, as this biome is teeming with dangers. Alongside the ever-present Endermen, who can tear you apart in an instant just by being glanced at, you’ll also encounter Shulkers—more cunning and perilous foes.
Shulkers conceal themselves within their shells and easily blend in with the purple blocks of urban structures. They launch projectiles that grant players a levitation effect, causing them to ascend into the air. This can be quite enjoyable and amusing until the effect wears off at a height significant enough for a fall. You will plummet to the ground and, upon impact, lose some health. Shulkers are equipped with strong armor and possess the ability to teleport, which collectively creates considerable challenges for players.
If you manage to clear the End city of hostile mobs or at least a small portion of it, you can set up camp in the barren lands of the End. With some effort, you might even create a cozy home-like atmosphere. However, be cautious: the eyes of the Endermen will always be watching you.
