Available today on Xbox One, Windows 10 Edition, iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch!
What? Another update this month? Unfortunately, no. But it’s not all bad news! Next year, the Village and Pillage update is set to release, and in honor of this significant event, we’ve decided to roll out a small release. Here, we’ll outline what features you can expect this time around. This update is now live for Minecraft on Xbox One, Windows 10 Edition, iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch! If you’re playing Minecraft Java, you have the chance to test these features as well. Check out the new Snapshot.
So, what’s new?
A panda! You can now find this adorable bundle of joy in Minecraft Pocket Edition. This new mob is charming, soft, and incredibly caring; you wouldn’t believe how tenderly they look after their young ones. And yes, pandas absolutely love bamboo! Hmm, sounds like me. Of course, I don’t have kids yet, but when it comes to bamboo…I do take great care of my rather unique bamboo collection. So, we’re practically twins.
It seems the developers thought one cute panda wasn’t enough for this update, so they also revamped cats, scaffolding, and bamboo! Wait! What? Still not enough? You can’t be serious! Yes, I didn’t see that coming… It turns out you’re greedier than a panda making its way toward my lovely bamboo garden.
But for you, the news about the sneaky panda already lurking in my doomed garden might not be too terrible, because you now have the opportunity to try out the new crossbow and its enchantments. To use it, head into the settings in Minecraft and find the “activate experimental gameplay” button! Just please, handle it with care!
Additionally, Realms has introduced a feature allowing you to subscribe, making it easier to extend your kingdom’s duration. Speaking of which, it’s worth mentioning that the bug causing flames to obliterate you with just one shot has finally been fixed!
