June is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated and beautiful months of the year. Every student looks forward to the arrival of summer, and consequently, June. You wake up in the morning to the sound of birds singing, get out of bed, glance out the window, and see flowers blooming everywhere with insects buzzing around. Of course, this is true if you live in the countryside. Even the most homebound individuals, like myself, emerge from their gloomy rooms, sporting dark circles under their eyes, only to realize that October has long passed and June has arrived…
However, today we are not here to discuss the lovely month of June. Instead, our focus will be on May! Throughout the entire month, we have been closely monitoring the content updates for Minecraft, during which 90 different maps, mods, skin packs, and texture packs were released!
As always, in our monthly roundup of the top player-created add-ons, we’ve gathered what we believe to be the most intriguing and original ones. So, what’s included this time? Let’s take a look right now!
Inner Dragon
Creator: TetrascapeHave you ever looked at your outfit with disdain and thought, “It would look so much better on me if I were a dragon”? I think about that every day! Seriously, ever since I saw this pack, those thoughts haven’t left my mind. At least in Minecraft Bedrock, I can get closer to realizing my dream. Tetrascape has come to rescue us from turning into dragons (yeah, sure, if I could become a dragon, I wouldn’t even consider going back to being human) by creating 14 dragon skins for the game. Naturally, these aren’t free, as the creator invested considerable time into their development, but each time you purchase a skin—remember that part of your payment goes towards environmental charity. Everyone who buys a skin contributes a little to preserving our planet. This is a truly commendable act by Tetrascape.
One of the members from the Minecraft team shared their thoughts on these scaly skins:
“Embrace your final form” — this is what the promotional text states. It sounds a bit self-sufficient, but I really like it! I genuinely hope that my inner dragon falls into either the “Shadow” or “Thunder” category; here they’ve elongated the mouth to be part of the body, as well as the head, which is pretty cool. I think this would significantly enhance my ability to consume an unquantifiable amount of food. Just imagine how large my body would become after that—my mom wouldn’t even recognize me and would ask me to leave. And honestly, not just my mom, even my grandma would be shocked…
Puppy Love
Author: 57 DigitalDo you love puppies? Want to transform into puppies and hit the streets with your friends like a real cool gang? Then you can visit your favorite neighbors, like the Creepers, and share your joy with them! 57 Digital has heard you and is ready to provide you with a whole crew of puppies in Minecraft Pocket Edition. They have created six dog skins for you and your friends to battle as cats and… well, dogs. As enthusiasts of adorable puppies and loyal pups, we would gladly award this skin pack with Mojang’s official dog approval stamp… although that doesn’t exist, we can certainly visualize it and come up with one. This time, someone who probably loves puppies the most among the entire Minecraft team volunteered to comment on this addition:
“I have a fondness for puppies, so when I came across this pack, I instantly knew I would adore them. These dogs are delightful and crafted with great attention to detail. I particularly appreciate the intricate features on these skins, especially how they enhance the shape of the character’s head. The facial detailing gives the dogs personality, making each one unique. The way the creators designed the ears and tongues is an excellent example of effectively utilizing outer layers in skin creation. Overall, I believe the shading has been executed quite well, adding depth to every geometric element. The package offers a nice variety in appearance, and it’s clear that the creators put considerable thought into each of these skins.”
NATURE: JUNGLE
Author: PixelHeads In the untamed wilderness of the jungle, if you ever plan to visit, waking up early in the morning without an anteater in your bed is quite unlikely. Well, maybe there won’t be an anteater, but you’ll definitely encounter plenty of other pesky insects. I wonder if any of our readers reside in such areas. Hopefully, that’s not the case for you. For those seeking jungle adventures without booking a flight, the latest version from Pixelheads is just what you need. Vehicles, ATVs, trucks, and chimpanzees—again, we certainly don’t want to find any of them in our beds, but how about the Marketplace content? Yes, please!
“So, I know that a significant credit goes to all the animals involved, and I hope Per (one of the members of the Minecraft Bedrock content team) showers them with all possible praises to ensure they are hygienically parallel to their awesomeness. But for me, regarding this build, it looks absolutely stunning, especially in terms of construction. There’s a vast area filled with charming little houses, ancient temples, and meticulously crafted mountains and paths. A mountain topped with a lake, surrounded by waterfalls on all sides—that’s where I would have built my cozy hut. It might not be the ideal spot for settling down, and food gathering could be tricky, but I’ve yet to see a place more majestic than this.”
When a fan or developer of Minecraft starts discussing the game, be prepared to hear a plethora of praises and descriptions about maps, mods, textures, and the game itself. Rest assured, they are not exaggerating in the slightest (well, maybe just a tiny bit).
This brings us to the end of our list. However, these are merely three additions that we managed to select from the vast array of all available publications. Don’t limit yourself to this selection; feel free to explore our other sections for more enhancements for your Minecraft experience!
