Inspiration Island

Have you had a chance to catch the main event of this year’s Minecraft Minecon? It was an incredible celebration where we witnessed a plethora of new features and updates. Honestly, I couldn’t remember everything (wait, did pandas just get added to the game? What?) Today, we’re launching another exciting feature that was also announced at the event, and it will be completely free on the Minecraft Marketplace! Introducing, the Island of Inspiration!

The Island of Inspiration is a water park filled with various creative builds. It holds numerous secrets and unique elements. My favorite part has to be the giant pencil. In these turbulent times, I believe it’s essential to have such beautiful pencils in every build. Seriously, take a look for yourself.

You can even enter it and climb up the stairs. We promise this isn’t a pointless endeavor. Additionally, we vow to cut Tom’s salary in half for making such a pencil joke.

If you’re not familiar with Creative mode in Minecraft Pocket Edition, don’t worry. The Island of Inspiration is perfect for you. Here, you’ll find plenty of signs with helpful tips, chests filled with only the best blocks, as well as suggestions and building ideas. If you’re already experienced in Creative mode, exploring this map will inspire you to create new masterpieces!

We’ve noticed that Minecraft Bedrock builds can be absolutely amazing, like this one, that one, or another one. The scale of these creations can be quite intimidating. That’s exactly why the Island of Inspiration was created. We want each of you to ignite a spark within yourselves that drives you to create equally wonderful and unique worlds. To facilitate this, we’ve provided all the necessary tools and conditions. “Island of Inspiration” isn’t just a textbook; it’s a launchpad. A point from which your creativity can take off, gain experience, and become a master of your craft. Build mesmerizing structures and bring even the most seemingly impossible ideas to life. Anyone can achieve this!

Now, I think it would be great to take a little tour.







[1/7] – This small library is full of books for you to read. However, instead of regular words on the pages, you’ll discover builds that hold their own stories! Can you come up with your own?
[2/7] – Anyone who can fit a 766-page novel like “Harry Potter” into a single build deserves a Nobel Prize!
[3/7] – Hmm, who said a build must be three-dimensional? For instance, here are 2D canvases, and you can choose any color you prefer. Afterward, try creating your own 2D masterpiece that makes the Mona Lisa herself feel nervous (forgive me, Mona Lisa).
[4/7] – Which blocks do you prefer to use for coloring? I used all black wool blocks. As you can see, it turned out pretty terrible. Sometimes I wonder why I’m still allowed to play Minecraft?
[5/7] – Redstone Volcano! Want to learn more about red earth stones or dig out a large space inside to make a supervillain lair? It’s up to you, but please don’t hit me.
[6/7] – Mirror mirror – the greatest build? Perhaps. But for some reason, instead of my reflection, I see the face of Jens. Looks like it’s broken.
[7/7] – That’s all. We don’t want to reveal everything there is, so just visit the Island of Inspiration and enjoy all its wonders!
