The mod «Gun Scope (Scope)» introduces a zooming/aiming feature for bows in Minecraft PE. This enhancement allows you to shoot with much greater accuracy. Whenever you crouch while holding a bow, the aiming mode activates automatically, enabling you to hit your targets with remarkable ease and precision.
How does it work?
You can engage the aiming mode in MCPE by sneaking and holding the bow. This will make hitting your targets significantly easier, as they will appear closer than they actually are.
This screenshot is taken from a third-person perspective. As shown, there are at least 15 blocks between the player and the creeper. However, as long as the scope mode is active due to your sneaking, the player perceives their target as being much closer.
Installing Gun Scope (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled — «.mcpack» below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to world settings.
- Set the imported options for the world:
— Add-on Packs. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It’s recommended to restart the game client Minecraft PE afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Gun Scope (.zip)
- Download this mod below.
- Extract the folder “ZoomAddon_by_V,LEMO” from the archive.
- Move the folder “ZoomAddon_by_V,LEMO” to the directory /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Apply the add-on that you previously moved to the behavior_packs folder for the selected world.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and have fun playing!
