🛠 How to Install the Mod
Step 1: Start the Voice Server (Essential for TTS)
- Download the necessary external server file (e.g.,
TTS_Server.exe) from the Releases section on GitHub. - Launch the downloaded server.
- ⚠️ IMPORTANT: The first launch may take 15-30 seconds to initialize and download the voice model. This process is normal!
- Wait for the message indicating
Running on http://127.0.0.1:5000, which confirms you’re set. Keep this window open (or minimize it) while playing. - Install Minecraft 1.21 alongside Fabric Loader (recommended through Prism Launcher or Modrinth App).
- Download TwitchTTS as well as the Fabric API.
- Place all
.jarfiles into themodsdirectory. - Open Minecraft and navigate to the main menu.
- Access the Mod Menu.
- Locate TwitchTts and select Config (symbolized by a gear icon ⚙️).
- Input your Twitch channel name (all lowercase, omit @ symbol).
- Customize settings like chicken lifespan, maximum population, and voice options.
- Press Done to finalize your settings.
- Confirm that the TTS server window is operational and minimized.
- Enter your Minecraft world.
- Open the chat box and input:
