Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.16.0 has taken us all by surprise! Out of the blue, a beta version of Minecraft PE 0.16.0 Build 1 has been released for all MCPE players, including us.
The main focus of the update for Minecraft PE 0.16.0 was to introduce anticipated content for the version Minecraft PE 0.16.0, specifically underwater fortresses, guardians, and most importantly: a revamped game menu.
All of this is now available in Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.16.0 build 1! Let’s take a quick look at all the new features in this game version!
What’s New?
— The first thing we notice upon entering Minecraft PE 0.16.0 is the updated “Store” button. Additionally, we see the familiar information indicating that this is a beta test build.
— The game settings menu is something new. We previously mentioned on the site that the update for Minecraft 0.16.0 would feature an updated menu, but it arrived much sooner than expected! As you can see, the game menu has become more user-friendly and somewhat resembles the PC version of Minecraft. This change was made to enhance the comfort of game settings on both Android/iOS and Windows Phone (Windows 10).
Every element and section of the menu has been designed in this style.
The world menu in Minecraft Pocket Edition remains unchanged, while the world creation interface for MCPE has also been updated to reflect a PC style.
During world creation, you can set additional parameters such as: “game mode,” “difficulty level (new feature),” “cheats (new feature),” and other standard settings, all designed with a more modern and user-friendly aesthetic! Of course, it will take some time to get used to the new [interface] design of Minecraft!
After a few quick adjustments to your new world settings, you can hit the create world button and dive right in!)
— And upon opening the interface, what do we see? We see new spawn eggs! They are located right next to the sword icon in the screenshot.
The colorful egg is currently inactive, while the guardian egg is fully functional. You can pick it up and spawn a guardian!
— We didn’t have to wait long to grab the guardian egg! The update for Minecraft PE 0.16.0 is truly amazing; we don’t need to wait for the update Minecraft PE 0.16.0 to explore underwater fortresses — they are practically at our fingertips!

The game’s pause menu has also been completely revamped to be more modern, convenient, and visually appealing!
The design of the in-game settings interface in MCPE looks absolutely stunning! I highly recommend downloading Minecraft PE 0.16.0 quickly to enjoy these new features!
— I also want to point out that you can now change the game mode without leaving the game, directly in the world settings, while in MCPE 0.15.9, you can adjust the difficulty there as well, and enable cheat support!
