We’re Improving the Minecraft Menu

Can you envision any website or application without a menu tab? Certainly not! The menu tab is essential; it significantly enhances your user experience and improves navigation speed in Minecraft, drastically reducing the time spent searching for what you need. This is why we have embarked on a major redesign of the game’s interface. The user interface is available across all platforms of the Minecraft Bedrock Engine, including Xbox One, Windows 10, VR, mobile devices, and Nintendo Switch.

What would you like to see in the new game menu? Are there features you’d prefer to simplify or customize? Perhaps adapting the interface for your mobile device by adding a main section directly to your home screen? We also propose an alert button that makes your device beep when pressed, as we believe every game should include this feature.

No matter how unique your suggestions may be, we are always eager to hear from you.

To help you get started, we’ve created four prototyping kits that could eventually become part of the user interface design for Minecraft Pocket Edition on both mobile devices and PCs. You can download the game interface by following these instructions:

Console Kit
Phone Kit
Desktop Kit
Tablet Kit

Here are some elements you will find in your kit!

This is just a small glimpse of several pages from the upcoming update. We’ve allocated extra space for creating custom buttons, additional tabs, and features you’ve never seen before in Minecraft Bedrock.

The new menu capabilities provide maximum comfort to kickstart your experience. However, if you’re unable to create your own menu components but have another idea, feel free to share it with us; we would love to listen.

You can submit your ideas through our Minecraft Discord channel.
