Dear friends, many of you have been eagerly anticipating the release of the new version of Minecraft Pocket Edition. The moment has finally arrived. The company Mojang, in collaboration with Telltale Games, has launched the latest installment: Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 5. Unfortunately, since our site focuses on MCPE, we won’t be able to provide a download for the backup of Episode 5.
However, we do have some exciting news. While this information may seem somewhat “mundane” to some, as we know, updates for MCPE don’t just appear out of nowhere. To celebrate the launch of Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 5, a skin pack from Story Mode will be introduced in Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.14.1, and surprisingly, it will be FREE. Yes, that’s right! The Minecraft: Story Mode skin pack is promised to be available at no cost. I believe that Mojang is about to make a significant breakthrough in the gaming industry of Minecraft Pocket Edition, as we’ve never received any skin packs for free before.
Of course, it’s possible that they might offer most skins for free while keeping some behind a paywall, similar to their previous practices. We cannot say with absolute certainty whether the skins will be entirely free or paid. We’ll only find out when this update becomes available on our devices.
As for other changes in MCPE 0.14.1, we currently have no information. Typically, along with the introduction of a new skin pack, there are also bug fixes implemented based on issues discovered during testing of upcoming features being developed for Minecraft PE 0.15.0. Unfortunately, this content remains hidden from us, so all we can confirm at this point is that the release of Minecraft PE 0.14.1 is set for April 6th, Wednesday, and that a Minecraft: Story Mode skin pack will be included.
