During this Saturday broadcast about Minecon (which you can watch on this site), you’ll have the opportunity to vote for a new mob that will be introduced into Minecraft. There are 4 potential mobs, but only one will emerge victorious and make it into the game, so be sure to catch the Minecon live stream on November 18th and cast your vote!
This week, we’ll provide more details about this mob, and today we’re shedding light on Mob A, which is a creature from the ocean’s depths. Could it also appear in Minecraft PE? Check out the video below to hear Jens discuss this new marine entity and explain why it deserves your vote! If you prefer reading over watching, you can find his words below.
This monster will attack using its tongue-like tentacles to drag you down and drown you in the ocean’s depths. It spawns at the bottom of water bodies and uses its large mouth to propel itself forward. You should vote for this mob because there aren’t many creatures currently inhabiting the oceans, and adding this being would enhance the excitement of traveling from one island to another—perhaps even in Minecraft PE?

If you’re looking for some thrilling adventures lurking in the ocean depths, then you likely enjoy horror films that pose the question: Where was I going with this? Afterward, Mob A – Monster of the Ocean Depths will be added to Minecraft. Tune in to the Minecon video stream this Saturday for your chance to vote!
