Not too long ago, there was a company known as Orange. They had a rather catchy slogan: “The future is bright. The future is orange.” However, I believe that’s misleading because anyone who has watched sci-fi movies knows that the future is often depicted in shades of blue. Perhaps even violet or indigo, but definitely not orange. Therefore, I hope this color gets phased out and such companies cease to exist.
Today, however, the builder Noraa Builds will present us with a new vision of the future – one that is not only blue but entirely virtual.
“Projection is my latest project for Minecraft PE. At the base of this creation are 8 generators combined into one to produce a massive beam of light,” shares the creator. It’s unclear how people access this place, but perhaps there are various teleporters or spaceships involved.
“The design gives the impression that the city is still under construction. Some parts are completed while others await their turn.” Just imagine coming home to find your bed half-loaded and your kitchen still buffering. A true nightmare.
The main source of inspiration for the developer came from films and anime, particularly the renowned “Ghost in the Shell.” The creator admired the city’s aesthetic and decided to recreate it within Minecraft Pocket Edition. “I started with traditional methods—sketching everything on paper before bringing it to life in Minecraft PE. Then I built the generators, starting with the main one and working through the secondary ones. Finally, I added the beams.”
But don’t be mistaken—the task of constructing a city is quite challenging; the author dedicated 10 hours over two weeks to complete it. One of the most difficult aspects was designing the generators. “I aimed to make them look like they powered the city while also being visually appealing. It was no easy feat, but I think I managed well.”
The most striking feature of the entire creation is its color scheme—a blend of gray and blue tones accented with yellow. The unique characteristics of Minecraft PE lead builders to make some truly unconventional choices that would baffle any architect! Wool for walls? Melon doors? Let’s hope nobody actually lives in these buildings.
Noraa utilized standard materials: stone bricks, cobblestone, diorite, and more. Light blue hues set the tone for the entire project.
