The company Mojang deeply regrets its actions. With the release of the new Aquatic update for Minecraft Pocket Edition, their intention was to provide you with delightful experiences, allowing you to dive into the enchanting depths of the seas and explore the oceanic world.
However, the developers have never been so far from reality.
For lurking somewhere in the ocean’s depths is something sinister. Concealed beneath the water’s surface, among the charming dolphins and beautiful corals, evil awaits you!
We sincerely hope you haven’t encountered any drowned yet!
To learn more about these mobs, I decided to consult the most intelligent, wise, and respected developers of Minecraft PE. Unfortunately, they were all busy, so I had to turn to these individuals:
“I was honing my karate skills in the sea,” declared one of the most skilled liars, Sid Plimps, “when suddenly I came across a drowned that I took down with a single blow! He sank to the bottom, and I followed him in search of treasure. You know how much I love rotten flesh.”
An intriguing tale from our friend. However, his fondness for consuming rotten flesh is even more terrifying than the drowned themselves.
Rotten flesh is the standard and most common drop from zombies. Moreover, it happens to be Sid’s favorite food. He wanted to invite me over for dinner, but I told him I had too much work to do.
“As soon as I reached the bottom, I saw neither zombies nor a piece of rotten flesh,” Sid recounts, “I witnessed a zombie fall here; where did my loot go?”
Indeed, where could the loot have vanished? Sid was quite upset and anxious. Plus, he was hungry. But there was something else—horror.
“Suddenly, I spotted that very zombie again. He was far away, fading before my eyes. So, I decided to chase after him and strike with my powerful blows!” Sid exclaimed, flexing his biceps.
“But as I got closer… I haven’t stopped screaming since then!” he shouted.
Was this just a singular encounter with a monster? Or are there more grotesque creatures lurking in the seas? To address these questions, I turned to an experienced user of Minecraft PE, a local fisherman named Matthew Denton.
“I absolutely love fishing!” Matthew shouted at me without waiting for my question.
I asked if he had ever encountered drowned. At that moment, he went pale. His hair seemed to fall out along with his teeth. Even his hands trembled. It was frightening.
“N-no, I’ve n-n-never met them!” Matthew stammered, though it was clear he was lying. It was hard to understand someone without teeth.
Matthew only agreed to talk to me after I offered him some rotten flesh.
“One ordinary evening, I decided to fish near the shore. But the fish weren’t biting. Then a brilliant idea struck me. Why not throw my line into the sea, wait for a giant fish to eat it, and then catch it?” he explained.
This might be the worst brilliant idea I’ve ever heard. Yet, Matthew proceeded exactly like that.
“I cast my line and swam down to it. And I saw something strange. Something bizarre that held onto my line. It was a creature not of our world. Definitely something evil,” Matthew recounted with fear.
Things worsened further. While I studied these beings, rumors circulated that they could wield weapons.
“Honestly, this creature was holding a massive fork. Thank goodness I wasn’t lying on a big plate sprinkled with salt. Otherwise, it would have eaten me. I was close to death!” shared builder Jonathan Quibbles.
The ‘fork’ described by the builder is nothing other than a trident. This new weapon was introduced in the latest update. You needn’t worry if you possess a trident, except when facing other mobs armed with tridents…
If you consider yourself a brave and daring conqueror of the worlds in Minecraft PE, then hurry up and set off to hunt for the drowned!
