Bad Habits in Minecraft (Part 2)

A couple of weeks ago, we published a collection of the most detrimental habits to eliminate in 2020. The Minecraft community embraced this concept and decided to compile their own list. To be honest, we have over ten million suggestions, so we’ll need to carefully review them all to find the most unique and plausible ones. Alright, I might be exaggerating a bit; we actually have far fewer suggestions. It seems I know what I’ll add to my personal list of bad habits.

Start Brewing Potions

Bad Habits in Minecraft (Part 2) How many enchanted books do you have in your inventory? I sincerely hope you’re not hoarding them, or else you’ll need to tackle that habit. Many players, especially those new to the game, are hesitant to engage with potions due to the perceived complexity of brewing them. In reality, mastering this skill is easier than it seems, particularly since there are numerous detailed and straightforward recipes available. Once you get the hang of potion-making, you’ll gain a significant edge over your foes in Minecraft!

Don’t forget about the ceiling

Bad Habits in Minecraft (Part 2) Erecting walls to shield against creepers while neglecting the ceiling is not a good idea. Your character will be exposed to raindrops, phantoms may swoop in at night, and essentially, a house without a ceiling cannot truly be considered a home. It’s unwise to put Steve through discomfort and danger over such a minor detail. Just place a few blocks above his head and carry on with your activities!

Harvesting Wheat

Bad Habits in Minecraft (Part 2) Stop the endless wheat harvesting and finally embark on an adventure! We understand that before heading out, say, to face the Ender Dragon, you need to tend to your crops. However, this often gets delayed, pushing your journey to another time. If you’re overly concerned about your wheat, consider building a redstone system to automate all your tasks.

Digging with bare hands

Bad Habits in Minecraft (Part 2) What distinguishes an inexperienced player? The level of preparation! I once tried to mine diamond ore with my teeth until someone advised me, “Make a shovel!” Since that moment, this tip has become my favorite and most valuable. Often, when we encounter gravel, we painstakingly scrape it away with our hands. But why bother? Grabbing a shovel is quick and far more efficient!

Choose Your Direction

Bad Habits in Minecraft (Part 2) “Where are you headed?” — “Wherever the path takes me.” Yet, it turns out that for hours he has been wandering aimlessly in a survival world. This is not the way to go. Set yourself a goal and pursue it!

Numerous Worlds

Bad Habits in Minecraft (Part 2) World Name: “Seriously, Another One?”

I have been playing Minecraft Bedrock for many years now, and I’ve accumulated an uncountable number of worlds. I can’t even remember where anything is anymore, so you know what? I just keep creating new ones!

There’s a great solution to this dilemma! Just stick with one single world and name it “Don’t Leave Me.” You’ll never create another new one because you won’t want to betray your only world!

Finish the Zoo

Bad Habits in Minecraft (Part 2) How many of us have impressive builds that are only 43% complete? One member of the gaming community shared their Ideal Zoo. They mentioned starting construction five months ago and still haven’t finished it. I don’t think there’s any need to worry! It just requires a bit more gold to build the walls, floor, ceiling, fence, and create a stunning golden entrance… I would leave everything as is…

I managed to forget my promise not to leave my new world and ended up doing just that. Now, I’ll have to spend the rest of 2020 in a state of guilty reflection. I’ve found my calling!
