The mod “The Pigmen” introduces a new type of pig to your Minecraft world — Wild Pigmen! These primitive beings spawn in groups of 2-5 individuals. They are unconcerned with issues like gold mining or hunting hostile mobs.
You can breed wild pigmen using carrots and other foods that pigs typically enjoy.
You can equip pigmen with a collar, and they will follow you around. By placing a saddle on a pigman’s back, you can mount it and, using a carrot, embark on an adventure together.
Along with the mod, a texture pack featuring skins for pigmen is included in Minecraft. A new item has been introduced — the ruby.
A ruby can be obtained after defeating a piglin, as well as from ruby ore. This is essentially what the ore looks like.
Ruby ore is smelted into rubies using simple and blast furnaces.
A new trading system has been introduced.
Pigmen offer a variety of food items in exchange for rubies. If you equip them with saddles, they will no longer be able to sell anything.
It is necessary to enable experimental gameplay.
Installation of The Pigmen (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into Minecraft.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-on Packs. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world Minecraft, and enjoy the add-on!
