Recently, Minecon Earth took place, where it was announced that pandas will be introduced in Minecraft as part of the new Jungle update. The mod titled Panda Bear (Панда) will replace pigs in the game with pandas. They closely resemble their appearance from the video presentation, but their behavior differs due to certain limitations.
How Does It Work?
In Minecraft Bedrock, pigs will be substituted with pandas. You can find them spawning in most biomes, particularly in jungle biomes. This neutral mob will become aggressive if attacked. You can feed it bamboo in Minecraft to make it happy (which replaces sugar cane).

Installing Panda Bear (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as .mcpack below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- For the world, enable the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-on Packs. - Select the imported resource/add-on packs in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
