The time for elephants has arrived in Minecraft! With the mod “Elephants! (Слоны)“, you will encounter these massive, majestic creatures in the savannah and desert oases, primarily near lakes.
Elephants can be tamed. The process is similar to that of taming horses; first, you need to train them, and then you can mount and ride. However, to be honest, elephants in Minecraft aren’t particularly fond of humans, so both of you will need some time to get accustomed to each other.
Approaching an elephant will result in an attack. Taming younger elephants is not possible, so it’s best to avoid any interaction with them. Once you have successfully tamed an elephant, equip it with a saddle. If you have any golden horse armor left, you can utilize it. This will reduce fall damage and mitigate most injuries from close combat. However, ranged and magical attacks will still inflict damage.
If your elephant is injured, feed it wheat, melon, and an apple.
