We present you with the chance to enhance wolves in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition by allowing them to wear armor, which will be equipped on each of them after you install the mod titled Armored Wolf (Armor for Wolves). The wolves themselves cannot choose whether to wear armor or not, as they always spawn with it (provided you have enabled the add-on). This armor significantly boosts their protection, which is easily noticeable due to the increase in their health. As a player in MCPE, you are also offered several additional ways to utilize wolves (such as riding them).
How Does It Work?
Armored wolves replace the standard wolves in the Minecraft PE world. If you manage to find one in the wild, you can tame it by giving it bones.
- iOS / Android: Long press on the wolf and tap Tame (make sure you have a bone in your hand)
- Windows 10: Right-click on the wolf while holding a bone to attempt to tame it
Tamed wolves possess five times more health than regular wolves in MCPE and can be used for various purposes, such as protection and riding.
Equip the wolf with a saddle to ride it in Minecraft Pocket Edition. You can also provide it with horse armor to enhance its protection further.
