The mod “Alchemical Eggs (Alchemy)” will enable you to do just that, but first, you must complete a ritual of sacrifice and absorption in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition. Once you become an alchemist, you will gain several new abilities and discover the magical power to absorb mobs and their youth into eggs. This mod is essential for transitioning to a whole new level of challenge in MCPE!
How to Become an Alchemist?
To become an alchemist, you first need to perform a ritual. For this, you will require a golden chestplate and an enchanted apple. You also need to find an Endermite or a regular Mite.
Wear the golden chestplate and hold the enchanted apple. Then, release the Mite or Endermite and let it attack you in Minecraft PE. This process will allow the golden chestplate to absorb the magic of the enchanted apple, resulting in you receiving a full set of golden armor (excluding the helmet).
As an alchemist, you will gain several new abilities:
- Deal 3 damage from attacks (up from = 1)
- Underwater breathing for 30 seconds (up from = 20)
- Absorb mobs into an egg
Before you can absorb a mob into a spawn egg, you will need to learn about solar and lunar energies. Some mobs require solar energy to be absorbed, while others need lunar energy.
- Sun Mobs (Nighttime): Bat, Chicken, Ocelot, Polar Bear, Rabbit, Squid, Wolf
- Moon Mobs (Daytime): Cave Spider, Enderman, Mite, Skeleton Horse, Skeleton, Spider, Stray, Zombie, Drowned
Make sure to wear the golden chestplate and hold an egg when interacting with mobs.
- IOS / Android: Long press on the mob and select Absorb
- Windows 10: Right-click on the mob
Once you do this in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition, an explosion will occur, and you will receive a spawn egg in your inventory.
You can then use the spawn egg to summon a mob anywhere.
Installing Alchemical Eggs (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Add-on Packs for the world. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the game client Minecraft PE afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Alchemical Eggs (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the “Alchemical Eggs Add-on” folder from the archive.
- Move the “Alchemical Eggs Add-on” folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the add-on you previously moved to the behavior_packs folder.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
