Minecraft 1.16.100.55 (New version)

On September 10, 2020, a new beta version of Minecraft 1.16.100.55 was released for Android, available for free download. This update primarily focused on bug fixes and introduced experimental settings. Notably, the performance and stability of Minecraft have been enhanced: the game will no longer crash when opening a Shulker box, and the crash issue when using the command /fill has been resolved.

Vanilla Parity Fixes in 1.16.100.55

Six fixes related to vanilla parity in Minecraft 1.16.100.55 have been announced:

• Small zoglins now have cute, oversized heads.
• Crimson and warped fungi can now be placed on mycelium blocks.
• Interactions with pistons have been corrected.
• Composter bugs have been fixed, including the ability to fill the composter with glowstone.

Key Fixes

The list may not be as extensive as in the previous beta, but it is certainly longer than in the full version of Minecraft 1.16.40:

• Boots modified with soul speed no longer get stuck on mobs or players after breaking.
• Zombified piglins will no longer lose their gear.
• The Smithing Table screen now features a hammer icon, and the UI elements display correctly in Minecraft 1.16.100.55.
• Visual feedback has been enhanced.
• The safe zone size has been reduced.
• The skin editor screen has been optimized for caching, allowing players to access the skin editor in Minecraft without an internet connection.
• If a fox falls onto berries, it will not take damage.
