Animated Emotions

Long-time players remember how character faces used to look in the editor. Redstone Changes in Minecraft PE 1.16.0

The developers have finally addressed redstone. Its behavior has long seemed illogical to many, prompting a redesign. Some of the old features will remain, but the core mechanics will either be completely altered or replaced with new ones, as illustrated in the image below.

New Blocks and Resources

Those who have already experienced this update will soon feel nauseated by the mention of hellish biomes, Hoglins with Piglins, and Netherite. These are, so to speak, mainstream additions. Therefore, we suggest exploring some of the less popular changes that await anyone looking to download Minecraft 1.16.0 on their mobile device.

Target Block. A new block introduced in MCPE that belongs to the mechanisms category. It reacts to arrows, tridents, and other projectiles hitting it. The signal strength varies based on the accuracy of the throw; hitting the bullseye will yield the strongest impulse of 15 units.
Abandoned Portals. New structures that will generate in both the Nether and the Overworld. Inside, with a bit of luck, you might discover a treasure chest or crying obsidian.
The latest update has completely revamped the generation of the Nether, allowing for the introduction of the envisioned biomes by the developers, such as the Crimson Forest, Warped Swamps, and Bastions.
A new spell has been introduced – Soul Speed. When this enchantment is applied, you will experience increased movement speed on soul sand or soil. Keep in mind that each step will wear down your footwear. It can be purchased from Piglins for gold.
In the Nether, you can now mine not only shards for crafting netherite but also a unique type of gold ore.
In the Warped Forests, you can find unusual vines that grow upwards instead of downwards.
If a projectile hits a bell, it will ring.
Did you know that flaming arrows can ignite torches?
Chains can now be crafted.

Magnetite. New blocks crafted from chiseled stone bricks, used for looping compasses. This effect is extremely beneficial in Minecraft BE – such a compass will always point to the location of the magnetite it first touched.
Respawn Anchor. A unique spawn point for the Nether. It charges with glowstone and has four charges available, but it only works in the Nether. If it enters the Overworld, it will explode instantly. Crafted from six crying obsidian and three glowstone.
