Underwater Palace

Being underwater is quite fascinating; everything around seems so mysterious during those moments. Sounds become significantly muted, spoken words are nearly incomprehensible, and colors appear different from what they do on the surface, taking on a bluish tint. However, to experience all of this, one must dive into the water, get their clothes and hair wet, and then dry off afterward. Is there an easier way? Absolutely! Builder Minecraft CorgiFalcon has created an entire palace beneath the sea! Wow, that’s incredible!

Surprisingly, he accomplished all of this by hand, meticulously drying everything so that his guests wouldn’t leave any dampness behind. While many builders utilize programs like WorldEdit to simplify their tasks, CorgiFalcon chose to do it all manually. “I never imagined I would be able to create something like this in Minecraft,” he shares. Typically, CorgiFalcon relied on external software for such ambitious underwater constructions. “However, I believe it makes the build more impressive when people know and see that each individual block was dug out, emptied, or placed by hand.”


Once CorgiFalcon established the foundation of the build, things progressed much more smoothly. Next came the garden, followed by the stunning, enchanting palace. At the end of his project, he decided to add a secret basement. Well, calling it a basement might be misleading; it’s more like a vast storage area filled with sparkling treasures and various gems. “I had to clear almost the entire area under the palace and garden to construct the storage,” the creator revealed.

The storage is my favorite part. I truly enjoy all the colorful blocks arranged as if thousands of gemstones are scattered across the floor. CorgiFalcon has his own preferences. “My favorite aspect is using glass walls. They protect the space from water while allowing views of the ocean,” he explains. It’s perfect for lounging and watching marine life—on these screenshots, I spotted a couple of delightful turtles!



CorgiFalcon also mentions that he really likes the “huge stone statues standing guard” over the storage. They look rather eerie, giving me the impression that they come alive to stop anyone trying to break in and steal the treasure… Brrr.

If you enjoyed the building and can’t take your eyes off it, here’s another piece of news: the entire structure features decorative elements that enhance its appeal. “There’s a recurring theme of yellow, blue, red, and green squares. It appears at the front of the palace and twice at the entrance to the storage,” the author notes. The whole palace is vibrant, from the orange and purple sofas in the living room to the sculptures in the garden, contrasting beautifully with the dark blue water surrounding the windows.

CorgiFalcon tells me that he was inspired by a YouTuber named Grian, who had a similar idea of constructing an underwater base. However, the concept of an underwater treasure storage was entirely his own. “In fantastic films and novels, hidden vaults contain immense wealth and treasures. I wanted to create something akin to that in Minecraft Bedrock.”

Now that the palace and its storage are complete, he plans to continue building in the same world. “Currently, I’m constructing a city on nearby islands,” says CorgiFalcon. “I plan to finish this and devise some unusual, beautiful stories for these places. In this endeavor, I can combine building in Minecraft Pocket Edition with the creative process of writing.”

It seems this palace could be the beginning of an entire fantasy universe! Imagine if the story revolves around how these eerie statues come to life. Hmm, we should probably be more cautious and kind towards them. But you can always enjoy the palace and the beautiful view of the ocean. And remember, don’t try to sneak into the storage and steal the treasures! Keep in mind that the statues are always on guard!
