Situated in the heart of an undisclosed location are the ruins of a castle on an island. This structure has been deserted for nearly a century, likely due to its placement right in the middle of an unknown area in Minecraft PE. All sorts of ancient magical entanglements with the Wi-Fi signal surround it.
And naturally, there are all kinds of monsters lurking about.
As for me? I prefer cities. There aren’t as many creatures eager to devour me! Well, at least not as many. This quirky and serene edifice in MCPE is the creation of zBeats, a builder from the UK (the land where everyone resides in castles), known for packing a lot of charm into simpler builds within Minecraft PE.
“I definitely need to give a shoutout to the incredibly talented builder Vubervos“, says zBeats, “he inspired me to work on the Castle on the Island. His style really encouraged me to try something a bit different and create something I thought I could never achieve”.
zBeats explains that the Castle underwent numerous experiments and collaborative efforts.
“While building, I truly began to go with the flow and just wanted to keep going. Eventually, I completed the first part of the castle and received very positive feedback and reviews, which motivated me to continue adding more new elements.”
After receiving all the positive comments during the initial stages of construction, zBeats brought along some good friends to make the Castle on the Island truly popular in MCPE.
“Once I finished building the castle, I asked my friend Eloo to create a basic World map in Minecraft Pocket Edition, so the castle would have nice, clean terrain to accompany it. I also requested my friend Etex to assist me with several tree projects, which she kindly agreed to since I was still early in learning how to craft wooden structures.”
To elevate the castle, a village is necessary, and to protect the village, a castle is essential. As zBeats states: “The original purpose of the Castle on the Island was to defend against the ferocious creatures that love to feast on villagers in the region. The castle serves as a refuge for those seeking shelter in hopes of a safer and happier life in MCPE. As the world evolved, the monsters eventually died out, making the Covenant Castle no longer needed. Now, it stands merely as a historical landmark.”
For those of us who find ourselves lost in the midst of an unknown place, trying to avoid becoming monster food while taking a desperate visit to the Castle on the Island, zBeats has his aspirations for what he wishes to see.
“I want people to embrace the idea that you don’t have to spend an enormous amount of time on details to make something look really impressive.”
He mentions that one should not be afraid to utilize others’ ideas but transform them into their own vision within Minecraft Pocket Edition.
“I hope to inspire builders to step out of their comfort zones and create something different from what they usually construct.”
