There’s something truly magical about treehouses, wouldn’t you agree? They are essentially regular homes elevated above the ground, lacking basic amenities like bathrooms and posing a higher risk of splinters. Yet, treehouses offer a unique adventure and an unparalleled sense of privacy.
For instance, you could never hang a large sign on your conventional house that reads “No Boys Allowed,” but in a treehouse, you can display as many as you wish without anyone ignoring you—like firefighters or police officers.
Unfortunately, many of us have outgrown such fantasies and now find ourselves living in standard houses, dealing with healthcare and buying refrigerators. The dream of having our own tree palace often fades away. However, as we know, Minecraft Pocket Edition loves to make even the wildest dreams of its players come true. User megavalve presents his version of a treehouse equipped with all essentials for life—a library, a game room, a sauna, and so many entrances and exits that you’ll hardly enter and exit from the same spot!
Like many other creations, this masterpiece was built in creative mode of Minecraft PE, since survival mode always carries the risk of your home being blown up by a creeper. Nevertheless, the project initially began in survival mode.
“I decided to return to the world of Minecraft PE after a four-year hiatus. Initially, I tried survival mode, but it quickly became tedious. Imagine starting to play when the pocket edition didn’t even have redstone! I felt like an outsider. It was akin to waking up from a coma in real life and trying to find electricity as if it had been discovered while you were asleep,” shares the creator.
This build is essentially a reimagining of what the author created four years ago. The new structure integrates seamlessly into the tree, allowing for cleverly hidden yet functional secret passages.
“Sadly, I couldn’t finish the project back then. At that time, the game had a very low vertical block limit. Some design elements remained unchanged since then, like the television, but I added plenty of new features.
I also have a great love for books. So, you’ll notice how many book blocks were incorporated into the house. If you want to create a cozy atmosphere in your Minecraft PE home, think about what would be essential in your real-life dwelling. Some people enjoy lush greenery indoors, while others prefer waking up to the sight of the rising sun. Build according to your heart’s desire,” explains the developer.
What is the author’s favorite spot? “A small area at the very top of the building. It offers a lovely view.” Most of the tree resembles a grand mansion nestled in the woods, while a tiny nook at the peak serves as a hideaway accessible only through one of the secret paths. This little space is designed for moments when solitude strikes in the larger house. This zone was among the last additions made to the build, along with a terrace and a pen.
The entire construction took around three months to complete. The most time-consuming part was arranging the leaves. “You know how creators usually have their signature block? For me, it was leaves. They consumed a lot of my time and effort. There were times I’d log onto the map and feel stuck. But eventually, I decided to take a long weekend to focus solely on placing the leaves. Once I positioned the branches, it was time for the foliage!”
If you think megavalve has a special connection with leaves, you’re right. “In fact, I used to have nightmares about leaves,” says megavalve. “You need to be incredibly patient and careful when working with them.” The author utilized four types of leaves to enhance the tree’s appearance. “They add depth to the project; it’s crucial to pay attention to the smallest details.”
There’s a specific reason why installing the leaves took so long—the assembly was done in Minecraft Pocket Edition. This means the author placed each block using just his fingers. “My work teaches me patience,” said megavalve, who works for a security company.
And by the way, there’s no need to worry about the buildings catching fire. “Even though that feature is turned off, I still save the entire map in ZIP format just to be safe. It’s better to be cautious and save than to regret losing everything later,” the author explains.
So, there’s absolutely no need for a fire department!
