Once while browsing the Internet, I came across a saying that emphasized the importance of stepping out of one’s comfort zone for personal growth. This made me think it would be interesting to test this concept in Minecraft. So, what does a comfort zone look like in the gaming universe? Clearly, it’s the Overworld! Thus, we embark on an exhilarating solo adventure that will challenge our perspective on life!
A Journey of a Lifetime
Why build a house when you can claim the entire world as your home? Each day at sunrise, one must rise and continue moving forward. Perhaps even venture until phantoms start to appear.
Initially, this may not concern you, but as your inventory fills up, you’ll need to prioritize and discard unnecessary items. Do you really need seven dyes and a backup of your spare pickaxe? I think not today.
In any case, you will have the opportunity to explore new locations and acquire fresh trophies. Just be careful when selecting items and remember that if you die, you’ll lose everything you’ve gathered!
Rating: 10/10, extremely useful, engaging, and fun!
Vampire
Why not embrace the night and experience life as a vampire? You’ll need to consume only raw meat and steer clear of direct sunlight.
Rating.6/10, as going outside every night becomes frightening and less intriguing once you reach a certain age.
Vegan
When my character felt hungry again, I simply approached an animal and struck it a couple of times. However, then I glanced at another sheep and realized that looking into its eyes made me feel guilty for taking the life of such a sweet and defenseless creature.
In the upper world, adopting a vegan lifestyle is quite straightforward; finding alternatives to meat, dairy, eggs, and all animal-derived materials poses no challenge. Items crafted from leather and wool also imply the killing of animals, so I have avoided those as well.
Rating: 7/10, as preserving the lives of creatures is commendable, yet it imposes restrictions on mobility.
Pacifism
We can now coexist peacefully with all beings in Minecraft. No one is to be harmed, even if it’s for self-defense. Cornered? Surrounded by skeletons? A true pacifist will not respond to aggression with more aggression. There are always exceptions, and we choose to consider the creeper as one of them.
Rating: 3/10, I realized that running away from issues only leads to new ones, such as death.
Subterranean Dweller
The chirping of birds and fresh air are too close to my comfort zone, so I opt for molten lava! I have just one day to gather supplies before I permanently descend into the underground world!
Nothing compares to the rapid destruction of as many sheep and trees as possible. By the end of the day, I found myself delving into the underground realm, and you know what? I realized one thing: no matter where I dug, I would inevitably stumble upon a cave or lava. Seriously, why is there so much lava?
Rating: 10/10, it was an absolute blast (sometimes quite literally)!
Who would have imagined that such restrictions could change the game in Minecraft: Pocket Edition? Think it’s easy? Try befriending hostile mobs and discarding all your items!
