“Our primary goal has always been to express art through the platform of Minecraft PE and its entire community. When we founded our company, we had no intention of pursuing commercial goals. We simply wanted to elevate and maintain the standard of building in Minecraft PE in Germany, and I believe we’ve succeeded,” says Ilya, the founder of Pixelbiester.
“Since the inception of our project, we’ve grown to include 22 members. As a result, our projects showcase a wide range of diverse solutions. The broad specialization of our creators allows us to craft anything. Artists draw inspiration from various sources: some are inspired by other Minecraft PE builders, while others find their muse in films or books, and some may even discover ideas during vacations or right at their doorstep,” claims one of the developers.
“When working on smaller projects,” continues Ilya, “each team member tends to work independently to generate different concepts and ideas for more advanced stages of construction. Once a project gains momentum, none of us slows down – at that point, we strive to organize everyone’s tasks so that each team member is aligned with the rest. Afterward, we continue our journey.”
“It’s also crucial to maintain oversight of the work. For this purpose, we assign one or two individuals to closely monitor the process. Motivation plays an essential role as well. In larger projects that require significant time and effort, initial enthusiasm can quickly fade. It’s vital to keep up one’s drive and productivity, even when working on a creation for over three months.”
Just take a look at the project above – it’s Valley of Science – another endeavor by the company for Minecraft PE. You would certainly think this is one of those extensive projects that took weeks of hard work from each team member. Massive glowing spheres, fleets of spaceships, breathtaking explosions, and much more – just gazing at it can leave you speechless.

The developers decided that Valley of Science should stand out dramatically from all previous works in the science fiction genre. Naturally, this required a considerable amount of time. However, the outcome justified all the efforts. The artists employed innovative colors and shapes, meticulously planning the design and appearance of each element within the project.

The Athelaney project embodies a medieval style that merges history with fantasy. “We aimed to infuse medieval aesthetics into all elements of the structures and architecture, creating a unique fantastical vibe,” say Totacky and zJaason, the creators of this masterpiece – “Of course, we didn’t forget to add classic fantasy elements: atop one of the buildings sits a magnificent dragon.”
“On the flip side, we endeavored to accurately and intricately depict life in the Middle Ages. For instance, we showcased wooden constructions. The cathedral featured in the map draws inspiration from the famous Notre-Dame. To make the city feel more alive, we included numerous carts, crates, and even stalls filled with goods. We believe the town fully reflects the standards of medieval life and architecture, except for the little dragon, of course.”
And again, that’s not all. The company explores many more creative realms than you might imagine. The Climate Change Project is one that resonated with us the most. This initiative goes beyond mere design; it addresses pressing social issues that are critical for humanity. Observe how the developers illustrated industrial areas, deserts, and jungles devastated by earthquakes. “We hoped that a project of this scale would allow us to highlight such an important issue using the platform of YouTube. We’re not trying to become paragons of virtue – we merely want to provoke thought, as these matters could help us tackle climate challenges. This contributes to making Minecraft PE something far greater than just a game,” explains Ilya.
