Developers are still actively working on the Minecraft 1.13 version. However, they also keep an eye on the current iteration of the game, Minecraft Pocket Edition. Certain features are being evaluated in this latest version as well. In the 1.12.2 update, players can notice a refreshed logo within the Minecraft: Java Edition game.
If this pre-release performs well, then Minecraft 1.12.2 is set to launch on Monday, September 18. The beta version is only accessible by enabling experimental settings in the game.
