The past week marked the return of a beloved category of games that had been forgotten: world templates. The official Minecraft PE website has reintroduced this category, and several talented builders have already showcased creations that allow you to craft your own world in Minecraft PE. In paving the way for new projects, we had to remove some old and long-forgotten ones. A big thank you to them for the wonderful memories!
Two of the maps listed below have previously been released on the Marketplace for Minecraft PE. I hope you’re already familiar with the Marketplace—the place where the coolest artists share their finest works.
The three maps, Kingdom: Survival, Farming Valley, and Stranded, represent a culmination of mapping efforts in Minecraft. We’ve seen creations that started on Java and made their way to the Marketplace, such as Runner Magma or Random Skies, but as far as I know, this is the first instance of maps being transferred from the Marketplace to Realms.
So let’s dive right into the best creations of this week within the Minecraft PE community!
Kingdom: Survival
Have you seen the map Blockception’s Kingdom Assault? Kingdom: Survival bears a striking resemblance to it: darkness and horror, eternal night, and hordes of zombies eager to take you down. This map seems to depict the brighter side of things—a time when all was well and peaceful in the kingdom!
Their creation, Blockception’s The Lost Civilization, has held its record for playtime among templates for quite some time. Will Kingdom: Survival surpass its predecessor?
Farming Valley
In Sweden, people often remind us that taking a break is essential, and we should definitely take vacations to unwind amidst nature. As a scientifically inclined individual, I’ve explored the meaning of “nature” and decided to spend my holiday in “Farming Valley.”
Farming Valley is a quaint little town completely surrounded by wilderness. A large house has been built just for you to stay in. But the best part of the map is the food scattered everywhere, which you can gather and enjoy as much as you like! You don’t even need to be a farmer to love this map!
Freezun
If you’re afraid of the cold, then this map might not be for you, where hunters and ordinary folks clash! Hunters will chase after frozen individuals who, in turn, will try to avoid freezing while helping others thaw out. As harsh as it sounds, it’s an excellent map filled with numerous Easter eggs and intriguing elements. Can you find the entire content team (Marc, Moesh, Klumpig, and Pulluxx) in Minecraft PE?
Cactus Escape
Of course, in the endless world of Minecraft PE, creating any type of project requires imposing certain limitations. Sure, you can always set up a PvP arena or open adventures that let you play however you want. But what if we go back to the roots of the game with a focused gameplay experience? Oscar—the map developer—will tell us more:
“I created a challenging puzzle called Cactus Escape, where you’ll need to solve intricate tasks. However, if you get stuck, you can easily use hints or even skip levels at your discretion. Completing the game entirely isn’t necessary, but if you’re a fan of great achievements, give it a shot!”
