Minecraft Launcher has a new beta version! We’ve implemented numerous updates and are eager to see them in action, as well as gather your feedback. So, what can you anticipate from this release? I bet you have no idea what’s in store for you!
At least, not yet. Currently, the Launcher app serves as the gateway to Minecraft: Java Edition. However, we envision it becoming much more significant in the future! It will be the hub for our upcoming games within the Minecraft universe. Given its importance to the overall gaming experience, we’ve decided to revamp the entire Launcher system.
In this beta version, we’ve delved into the inner workings of the Launcher to streamline and organize the code, ensuring it can accommodate all future changes and enhancements seamlessly. This means that while you won’t notice any visible differences just yet, everything remains functional as before—at least for now!
Nonetheless, we encourage you to test it out and let us know if anything isn’t functioning correctly. You can report any bugs you encounter here, so when submitting a bug report, please select the version “Beta (1.2. # – beta)” from the dropdown menu. Additionally, feel free to share your thoughts and suggestions on our feedback site.
With the Launcher Beta, you’ll automatically receive all the exciting updates we plan to roll out over the next year.
