Live streaming directly from the beta version of Minecraft PE 1.2.5!
The beta 1.2.5 is about to burst with exciting new features for players in the Minecraft universe (though it shouldn’t actually explode – that’s likely a glitch). One of these fresh additions is Mixer. Mixer is a platform that allows you to co-watch and stream live video while playing your game! It’s a fantastic way to engage with other gamers – check out the video at the end of this article to see how this feature works within the world of Minecraft.
In the beta version, you can now initiate a Mixer stream using Minecraft. Even better, you’ll be able to make certain parts of your gameplay interactive through buttons on Mixer! For instance, if you’re tackling parkour, you can use the command /mixer to let viewers vote on which obstacles will appear in your path! Please don’t create a brick wall for me. Yes, it would be hilarious. But seriously, please don’t do that.
Mixer is part of the 1.2.5 beta on Android, Windows 10, and Xbox One. Once the update is fully rolled out by the end of this year, the community will integrate Mixer features into other platforms of Minecraft. A separate mod for Java players will also be released later this year.
