Hooray, everyone! Today, the developers at Mojang have announced that the highly anticipated version of the game — Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.15.0 — is set to be released today! This is an exciting moment for all of us, as the new features brought by Minecraft PE 0.15.0 are sure to blow our minds. We’ve been eagerly awaiting the introduction of pistons in Minecraft PE, and we mentioned that they would appear in 0.15.0 — well, here they are! With the launch of Minecraft PE 0.15.0, both sticky and regular pistons will be added to the game.
Additionally, Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.15.0 introduces support for resource packs, which will significantly enhance the graphics of Minecraft Pocket Edition with maximum available capabilities. Resource packs can modify not only textures but also music, sounds, language files, end credits, splash screens, fonts, and textures without any code modifications.
We also previously mentioned that Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.15.0 would include mutton — and this has now been confirmed! Jason Major worked on this feature, and now raw mutton will drop from sheep. You can cook the mutton in a furnace, making it more beneficial and restoring much more health.
Regarding new biomes in Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.15.0, the developers at Mojang have done an excellent job! Several stunning new biomes have been introduced in Minecraft Pocket Edition, each filled with new types of plants, animals, and trees. I believe you’ve never seen such an MCPE before, where multiple amazing biomes are added in one update.
