One of the new developers for Minecraft Pocket Edition, specifically Jason Major, who is working on both the Pocket and Windows 10 Editions, recently shared a screenshot on Twitter showing a pumpkin worn as a headpiece by a player.
What makes the pumpkin mask special? In addition to being wearable as a head accessory, it allows players to approach Endermen without fear, as they will not be hostile when you look at them.
There’s also a possibility that the Pocket Edition may introduce features similar to those in the PC version. On October 31st, zombies, skeletons, zombie pigmen, and wither skeletons could spawn wearing pumpkins or Jack o’ Lanterns on their heads.
- Zombies and skeletons wearing pumpkins do not burn in sunlight since the pumpkin counts as a helmet.
