If you cook the meat in a furnace, its effectiveness increases, providing you with four hunger points instead of just one and a half.
You can obtain pork through two methods. The first is to steal it from a butcher villager’s chest, while the other method is likely already known to you. Unfortunately, the less pleasant way to acquire it involves taking down a pig.

To help them grow faster, provide meat for them as well. If you don’t have a fondness for wolves, consider selling the pork to local butchers in exchange for a few emeralds. Alternatively, you can purchase already prepared meat from them if you find the process of obtaining it yourself unappealing.
