Or maybe you’d design a playground filled with various attractions, allowing people to enjoy and explore a garden of delightful surprises aimed at benefiting the community?
Personally, I would opt for the statue, but the team behind Creative Ducks is more focused on philanthropy. They develop lobbies for servers alongside Minecraft PE, regardless of theme, whether it’s a festive holiday setting or futuristic urban landscapes. Each lobby is designed to warmly welcome players engaging in multiplayer servers, built specifically for that purpose.
Creative Spawn is one of their latest projects, featuring a structure that serves as a garden filled with numerous random and astonishing mini-builds. Take a closer look at the images in MCPE, and you’ll discover distinct themes and inspirations ranging from The Lord of the Rings to ancient Greek culture and science fiction.
“Our small project was created to inspire others,” says the team, “and to ensure that new ideas and fresh creative projects will come to life.” They encourage you not to remain confined within the sandbox, which can be quite mundane for users of Minecraft PE; they want you to elevate your experience, akin to a creative gallery.
The Creative Ducks team may not be the largest, but this allows them to maintain a friendly and approachable atmosphere while upholding their core values—innovation and creation. “We help servers brighten their worlds, and this map is one example of that.”
Moreover, the team collaborates to identify their specific interests and expertise. “Everyone does what they love,” they tell me. “Some focus on terraforming, some on decorations, and we help express creativity.” Together, they craft something in Minecraft Pocket Edition that they can all take pride in.
This entire build took the team just seven nights to complete, during which they say they had a lot of fun.
“The main idea behind this construction was to create a giant sky garden filled with tiny worlds where people could come and build creative things,” explains the team.
When creating any form of art, it’s essential to consider the type of player who might view your work. You should ask yourself if they will understand it. If you can make a build in Minecraft Pocket Edition appealing to people, you can assist them in crafting better creations in the future—just like the Creative Ducks aim to do.
One thing that can definitely be learned from the Creative Ducks garden is the significance of space and how it influences your build. Each segment has a specific theme, shape, and appearance, and while this limits what you can realistically create (no castles or gold vaults here!), it also provides greater focus.
But one final lesson comes directly from the Creative Ducks: don’t hesitate to experiment. “We’ve realized that there’s no need to fear trying out new styles,” they say. “There are so many cool ideas from games, movies, anime, etc., in this world. We want to see all of them brought to life!”
