Get a Minecraft Map for Free!

The Mojang team has decided to delight the Minecraft community with a new free map titled “Way of the Bee” in celebration of the release of the “Buzzing Bees” update!

This map is now available on all platforms of Minecraft that support the Marketplace: Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Windows 10, iOS, Android and PlayStation 4. While I could share an experience of hitting a bee and encountering a swarm, that might not be very interesting. Instead, here are some screenshots of this amazing and completely free map featuring incredibly friendly creatures—bees! Thank you to the Razzleberries team for creating such an immersive map. We asked its founder, Marianne Graham, a few questions to learn more about the creation process and the map itself.

Mariana: “People are talking about a man who has not ventured into society for several years. He dislikes being in crowded places and prefers the company of bees. And you know what? We discovered who he is—he’s a bee scientist! His passion for bees has grown so immense that he chose to leave populated areas and settle in the wilderness among his beloved insects and flowers. The scientist spends all his time tending to the hives, admiring the bees, and enjoying their honey. However, circumstances in Poppy Isle Minecraft Bedrock have made our kind-hearted grandfather feel sad because the bees there are nearly extinct. To remedy this situation, he gathers everything essential and sets off on his mission to revive the bees!”
