Do you have an action that fills you with pride? For instance, acts of kindness: assisting a loved one or even a stranger, giving up your seat on the bus for an elderly person. One day, I realized the importance of contributing to this world and decided to help an older woman cross the street. I almost succeeded, so society, you can consider me your little hero.

However, even someone as virtuous as myself pales in comparison to Minecraft Java developer Cory Schiavon. He is truly remarkable; over the past two years, he has been deeply involved in charity work, managing to raise $40,000 for the residents of Puerto Rico affected by Hurricane Maria. This incredible achievement came through relentless effort, hard work, and, of course, support from Minecraft players!

If you’re curious about how he accomplished this, check out the interview from the “Meet the Minecrafter” series.

This video is available on the official Minecraft Bedrock YouTube channel. To read more about how Cory raised funds for charity, you can find the details here.
