By combining various items in Minecraft, you can create a wide array of stylish, modern, and most importantly, functional furniture. For instance, you can turn trapdoors into hot tubs, use bookshelf blocks to make cabinets, and combine furnaces with water for a relaxing bath. To gather inspiration for these creations, we turned to Reddit users and their amazing ideas!
Showcase
Start by placing a barrel down. Use a sea lantern embedded in the wall for lighting. Next, add an item frame and place any object inside it. On top, position a scaffolding block. If you’d like to enhance the wooden structure, consider adding a spruce trapdoor. Your display case is now complete! This showcase is just a warm-up compared to what we will tackle next! We’ve stretched our creative muscles, and it’s time to dive into a more complex build—specifically, a grill!
BBQ Grill
Dig a rectangular pit that is two blocks deep and place two campfires inside it. Add two dirt blocks on the sides. Above the campfires, set up two looms, with dirt blocks on either side. Your setup should look like this (the bottom layer with the campfires and dirt is not visible here). You can remove the dirt blocks on the sides. Place dirt behind each loom, then put birch trapdoors on top of them. Remove the dirt and open the trapdoors. While holding the Shift key, position frames on the front parts of the looms. Insert iron trapdoors into the frames and right-click to rotate them perpendicular to the frame. This will create handles. On each side of the structure, add iron bars, and place a frame on top where you can put any food item. Then stand in front of the grill, hold Shift, and place an acacia button on one of the looms. This will simulate a sizzling steak effect.
Hot Tub
First, you need to prepare the area for the tub. Dig a square measuring 9×9 blocks, with a depth of 2-3 blocks (the deeper it is, the more steam will be produced). Place a campfire inside and cover it with spruce planks.
Next to it, set up a furnace with walls made of cobblestone. On top, place a flower pot.
Around the perimeter, arrange ten spruce trapdoors and ensure they can be opened. If positioned correctly, they should function properly. Leave an opening opposite the heater for a ladder.
Finally, fill it with water. Your hot tub is ready; you can warm yourself in it during chilly winter days… or boil if you’ve placed multiple campfires. Constructing the following interior items is challenging to explain through images alone, so we have attached several video tutorials.
The first assembly showcases the creation of six builds using carpets and tiles. Detailed guidelines will assist you in crafting bookshelves and office storage units. The construction begins with the simplest project—a bookshelf. By the time you reach the sixth build, having mastered five pieces of moderately complex furniture, you’ll be ready for the ultimate challenge—the office desk complete with a laptop! Prepare your carpets and tiles; an exciting task awaits you!
If you’re looking to tidy up your home in Minecraft Bedrock, a dresser is definitely what you need! While it may not serve a functional purpose, that’s beside the point. The highlight of this build is the mirrors. To achieve such an effect, you’ll have to mix dyes in such a peculiar way that at first glance, it might seem like you’re practicing magic. So, do you know what comes next? Invite all your friends over in Minecraft and throw a grand party showcasing your new masterpieces! Amaze them with stunning mirrors, a hot tub, and steaks that appear to be grilled!
