Here are some essential tips to keep you safe online: never share your password with strangers, choose passwords that are hard to guess, and avoid using the same password across multiple accounts. Otherwise, you might find yourself in the clutches of a villain who could rummage through your files: Virus!
The virus has indeed created some cool skins, although the artist – Henkkuainen brought them to life for Minecraft PE.
“I think I got the idea for these skins while working with the firewall and control panel on my computer,” says Henkkuainen, who captured the destructive and sneaky nature of the virus in this skin featuring a well-detailed skull in MCPE.
“The armor is designed for stealth, complete with a small cape on the back, as it tries to sneak into the computer to remain unnoticed,” explains Henkkuainen. “There are also some damaged red ‘files’ alongside green ‘files’ at the nape in Minecraft Pocket Edition.
To combat this villain, Henkkuainen also created two additional skins: antivirus and firewall – handy tools found on your computer. The antivirus scans your system for unwanted guests and removes them, while the firewall helps prevent their entry by monitoring and controlling incoming and outgoing network traffic.
“The antivirus skin features a green face and greenish armor representing a ‘safe’ system status,” says Henkkuainen. “It also resembles a friendly robot, but I think I’m the only one who sees it that way.” Meanwhile, Henkkuainen takes a more literal approach with the firewall, giving the skin a brick-like face – a nod to the image of the firewall used in Windows’ control panel. “The armor is meant to look powerful because the firewall stops suspicious files trying to infiltrate the computer” and steal all resources from Minecraft Pocket Edition!
I particularly enjoy how the armor layer releases floating files from the surface of the skin. Super cool gear – and a timely reminder to always keep an eye on your online security! It’s wild! After all, files from MCPE could vanish!
