Changing Character Appearance

In the upcoming update of Minecraft, players will have the opportunity to customize their character’s appearance in greater detail. You can now select hair, skin, and eye colors, along with many other options in the beta version!

Before proceeding with this article, it’s important to ensure that you are familiar with what beta versions of Minecraft entail. We have previously discussed this topic, but just to reiterate: beta versions serve as a testing ground for features intended for the main game. To become one of the testers for these features, you need to have Minecraft Bedrock on a platform such as Windows 10, Xbox One, or Android. During the use of features in beta versions, bugs and glitches may be discovered that could affect gameplay.

The most important thing to keep in mind when playing on trial versions is that they may not function properly. Incomplete features could potentially harm your world, so it’s essential to back up all of your Minecraft worlds.

During the development of a new augmented reality game, the developers became so engrossed that they decided to incorporate some features from this new game into the vanilla version. This includes an expansion of character customization options. For instance, there will be a vast array of hairstyles in various shapes and colors. Recently, the creator of this idea announced the release of a beta version, which means you can also participate and try out new looks for your gaming character! Additionally, the appearance modification feature will be added to Minecraft Earth and other core platforms like iOS and Nintendo Switch after testing concludes. With this new feature, you can personalize your character’s appearance by altering various aspects such as body size and shape. You will also have the ability to change eye color, mouth shape, hairstyle colors and forms, skin tones, and even facial hair, like adding a beard. Can you create your virtual doppelgänger in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition? Absolutely! While you’ll need to work within pixelated details, you can definitely customize your character to reflect your style! You can mix and match different body parts however you wish! Want to create a grinning person with blue skin, red eyes, and a bright green goatee? It might sound bizarre, but you can craft the most beautiful, strange, terrifying, and colorful character imaginable! There are even animated textures that allow your character to strut down the runway… or mine dirty blocks.

Over 100 features will be available for public access. This includes the ability to change the shape and color of hair, eye color, mouth, skin tone, facial hair, and body shape. Additionally, you will have the option to purchase extra custom accessories. Occasionally, there will be events similar to showcases where you can perform and earn new unique accessories.

With the introduction of character customization options, your existing skins will remain intact! All purchased, downloaded, or imported skins from the Java platform, as well as those obtained through other means, will not undergo any alterations. This also means that you won’t be able to modify them; the only characters you can personalize are Steve and Alex. It is important to note that all external modifications to your character do not affect their abilities. Changing certain body parts will not make you stronger, faster, nor grant you new superpowers, such as the ability to smell diamonds, even if you look fantastic.

And here’s the latest exciting update! If you’ve ever dreamed of having cloaks in the vanilla version, your dream is about to come true! Due to the introduction of new features and other considerations, the cloaks will be released a bit later. They will soon be available for players of Minecraft Bedrock in the near future!
