This modification introduces various abilities to Minecraft that utilize mana.
Noob Warrior is a compact RPG-style ability mod for Minecraft 1.21.5 (26.1.2) featuring a mana system and unlockable combat and support skills. It requires Fabric Loader version 0.19.3 or higher, along with Fabric API.
Why Should You Install This Mod?
Standard combat in Minecraft is simple—attack with a left click and block with a right click when holding a shield. However, Noob Warrior incorporates skill-based mechanics that enrich combat and exploration while retaining the essence of the original game. Players earn abilities through gameplay, these abilities draw on a resource called mana, and their effectiveness relies on precise timing and awareness. The design aims to seamlessly integrate into the vanilla gaming experience.
The Mana System
Upon beginning the game, players possess a mana pool of 5 with the following key features:
- Passive regeneration: 1 mana per minute
- Food consumption: Eating various foods replenishes 0.5 to 1.5 mana, depending on their nutritional value
- Sleeping: Resting in a bed restores mana back to full
-
Maximum mana: Players can permanently increase their mana by consuming Mana Ore (+5) or Purified Mana (+20)
Abilities Overview
Abilities are permanently unlocked skills. To acquire one, you need to enchant a book at an enchanting table (the abilities granted are random). Activate the ability by right-clicking the enchanted book to use it.
Switch between the abilities you have unlocked using Ctrl + Scroll Wheel and activate them with R (this can be customized in the key bindings).
