More Cows is the inaugural mod to be released on our site, introducing new entities into the game rather than replacing existing ones. However, it is exclusively available for Minecraft Bedrock 1.8 Beta, as this version allows for the addition of new objects. A total of 11 new cows will be introduced, and you can find their natural spawn locations throughout your world in Minecraft!
How Does It Work?
Here’s a list of the newly added cows, each inspired by a specific mineral. All cows (except for the quartz cow) spawn in the same biomes as regular cows.
- Iron Cow
- Gold Cow
- Lapis Lazuli Cow
- Cobblestone Cow
- Experience Cow
- Obsidian Cow
- Redstone Cow
- Quartz Cow (Spawns in the Nether)
- Diamond Cow
- Emerald Cow
- Coal Cow
Each type of cow drops items corresponding to its kind. For instance, gold cows drop gold ingots, while diamond cows yield diamonds in Minecraft Bedrock.
The quartz cow is the only one that appears in the Nether, as all other types spawn in the Overworld within biomes where standard cows are also found.
You need to enable “Use Experimental Mode”! Switch it on in the world settings! Version 1.8 is also required!
