The mod «Mob Disguiser (Mob Camouflage)» enables you to disguise yourself as any mob in Minecraft PE. Its primary use is for mini-games with friends. This feature is not intended for permanent survival worlds, as it removes certain vanilla features from Minecraft PE. You will have an enhanced view and experience while playing in third-person mode.
How does it work?
You can disguise yourself as a mob by right-clicking (or if you’re on iOS / Android, long press on the mob and select the Hide button). While disguised, you can move freely in any direction, become immune to damage, and won’t be able to see hostile mobs in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition.
If you wish to disguise yourself as a hostile mob, you can sneak to temporarily become invisible.
Installing Mob Disguiser (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled — «.mcpack» below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- Set the imported options for your world:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-ons. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It’s recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Mob Disguiser (.zip)
- Download this mod below.
- Extract two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder named «MobDisguise v1.2» to the directory /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
- Transfer the folder «Hide Player Names» to the directory /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Assign the selected world the resource pack and add-on that you moved earlier to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your gameplay!
