It is possible that the mod “Cannibalism” is one of the most disturbing additions currently available for Minecraft PE. This mod introduces a new mechanic where players drop items like raw beef and related materials upon being killed in MCPE. Other players can then collect this loot and use it for survival, especially when their food supplies are low.
How does it work?
Players will now drop items if they are killed by another player or a hostile mob. Here’s a list of items that can be dropped. The loot in Minecraft PE increases if the player is killed with an item that has the looting enchantment.
- 1 Skeleton Skull
- 1 – 3 Leather (plus 1-2 with looting)
- 1 – 3 Raw Beef (plus 1 – 4 with looting; cooked beef drops if killed by fire)
- 1 – 2 Bones (plus 1 – 2 with looting)
This feature is particularly beneficial on multiplayer servers, as it adds a new objective for players in Minecraft Pocket Edition. Cannibal (New Mob)
A new mob has been introduced. Zombies are now replaced by Cannibals. They possess more health, speed, and power, and are slightly larger than players. Cannibals spawn with stone swords. They can be quite challenging to defeat, but it’s worth the effort, as Cannibals drop several iron ingots. Their loot is similar to that of villagers, but they drop iron ingots instead.

Installing Cannibalism (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Add-on Packs for the world. - Select the imported resource packs/addons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing Cannibalism (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the “Be a Cannibal addon” folder from the archive.
- Move the “Be a Cannibal addon” folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world to use the addon you previously moved to the behavior_packs folder.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
