The mod “Vampire” introduces new mobs to Minecraft — vampires! They will emerge at night to attack players and villagers. Additionally, new items, blocks, and weapons will be available.
Mobs and Items
First, let’s take a look at the new mobs. You will encounter several types of vampires. The basic vampire can summon minions, zombies, vampire bats, and vampire villagers. There are five types of vampire villagers, which can be reverted back to regular villagers. This is done in the same way as curing a regular zombie villager — using a splash potion and a Golden Apple. The vampire bat spawns from regular vampires and attacks village inhabitants. Upon death, the bat may drop its wing, which you can then cook in a furnace or over a campfire. Raw wings restore 0.5 hunger points, while cooked wings restore 1 hunger point.
Introducing a new weapon—the vampire tooth, which is dropped by vampires upon their demise. The only exception is the vampire bat, which leaves nothing behind. This tooth is functional and can be utilized in combat. However, its effectiveness is somewhat limited, as its attack damage is weaker than that of a wooden sword. By using the tooth, you can craft a vampire tooth dagger. The crafting recipe is provided above. This dagger boasts better stats compared to the basic fang. Its attack damage is roughly equivalent to that of an iron sword, and additionally, it grants its wielder night vision and increased speed. These are excellent attributes, especially since you’ll need to escape from vampires during the night.
Урон орудий
- Vampire Tooth — 4 damage from attack.
- Vampire Tooth Dagger — 8 damage from attack.
New Block
This is how the new block appears. It is an enhanced version of the classic pumpkin from Minecraft, and you can make it glow by crafting it with a torch. The position of the torch in the grid does not matter.
If you encounter any issues with the mod installation, ensure that experimental gameplay is enabled in your game settings.
