Semi-Automatic Farm (Version II) [Minecraft PE Guides]

In this guide, I will show you how to create a semi-automatic piston farm in Minecraft PE. This setup allows players to easily harvest crops from their plots.

Let’s get started. First, dig out the plot and place the pistons as shown below:

Next, we will create a 1-block deep trench behind the pistons where we will install repeaters and redstone:

We will then cover the area for water with blocks (make sure to place one block on each side of the pistons to prevent water from spilling when activated):

Now let’s connect the signal to the pistons:

Create an edge in case any water spills out:

Fill the designated area with water:

Now plant your crops, such as beets:

Using the lever placed at the start of the mechanism, activate it to wash away your harvest:

When you toggle the lever again, the water will clear the plots.
