Greetings, visitor of PLANET-MCPE. In this series of tutorials, I will be gradually constructing a house while taking screenshots and detailing my actions. I believe this will be quite beneficial for beginners (and perhaps others as well!). We will be building in Minecraft PE.
What did we cover in the previous part?
Currently, we lack an activator mechanism and a place to harvest our crops. Let’s create those:
We start by digging out some space. It’s important to remember that crops need light to grow, which is absent at night. We’ll set up lighting using torches and redstone blocks (feel free to use any other materials instead of redstone blocks).
Now our garden beds are illuminated around the clock. Next, we have three broken chains for the mechanism; let’s connect them into one:
We’ll place repeaters between the connections to ensure the signal doesn’t fade away:
I prefer not to have the mechanism’s activator visible, so we’ll hide it underground. Let’s dig a hole:
On the opposite side, we will also dig a hole:
Let’s create a passage between the two holes to later lay down the redstone:
This concludes Part 46 of the construction. Stay tuned for new parts in the guides section or check out a special publication where all guides from our site are compiled!
I look forward to your suggestions and ideas in the comments.
