Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.14.2 Released Amid Beta Testing of 0.15.0 – Download Now!

A few days ago, testing began for the new version of the game — Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.15.0. Two beta versions of Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.15.0 have already been released. However, for some reason, Mojang developers have also published Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.14.2 on online stores such as the App Store, Google Play, and soon in other marketplaces.

Many might find this unusual, but it’s true. Just as beta testing for the new version Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.15.0 had begun, Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.14.2 was unexpectedly released. It’s quite amusing, don’t you agree?

WHAT’S NEW IN MINECRAFT PE 0.14.2

When you enter a world in Minecraft Pocket Edition—whether new or old—you will now see an informational message stating “Ready,” which appears after successfully loading the world.

Another feature of the new Minecraft PE 0.14.2 version is the inventory button, which is now gray, matching the design in Minecraft PE 0.15.0! But why release 0.14.2 with this update? Initially, it seemed like an error or an unfinished feature, but it appears that this button will remain on the screen for some time. Personally, it doesn’t quite match the aesthetic of the main inventory interface. Hopefully, the design will be updated soon!

Removed “Animated Water” Option

Another notable change in Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.14.2 is the removal of the “Animated Water” option. This feature is no longer available in the MCPE settings.

New World Exit Screen with Bugs

The Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.14.2 update also introduces a new screen for exiting the world. Currently, there are bugs affecting its functionality, as reported by MCPE developers.
