Experimental Features: The Next Game Drop
New Pig Variants
Two distinct new pig variants have been introduced to add more diversity to different biomes:
Cold Pig
- Unique texture and geometry
- Spawns in cold biomes including:
- Old Growth Pine/Spruce Taiga
- Snowy Taiga
- All Windswept variants (Hills, Gravelly Hills, Forest)
Warm Pig
- Distinct appearance from regular pigs
- Found in warm biomes such as:
- Savanna and its variants
- Jungle biomes (including Bamboo and Sparse)
- All Badlands variants
Regular Pigs
Continue to spawn in temperate biomes like:
- All Forest types
- Swamps
- Dark Forest
Enhanced Leaf Particle System
A comprehensive update to leaf particles now affects all leaf types:
- New falling leaf particles for:
- All vanilla tree leaves (Oak, Birch, Spruce, etc.)
- Azalea and Flowering Azalea
- Mangrove Leaves
- Cherry and Pale Oak Leaves retain their existing particle effects
Lodestone Improvements
The navigation system has been made more accessible:
- New simplified recipe: 1 Iron Ingot + 8 Chiseled Stone Blocks
- Recipe automatically unlocks upon obtaining either component
- Now available as loot in both Overworld and Nether Ruined Portals
