Were you anticipating new content? Here it is! In the beta version of Minecraft 1.17.30.23, the developers not only fixed existing bugs but also introduced a new cave type – spaghetti caves. Additionally, the biome generation has been significantly enhanced, providing you with a completely different gaming experience.
Fixes in Minecraft PE 1.17.30.23
Before you dive into gameplay, be aware that in this beta version, the creation of maps and worlds will be noticeably slower, especially on older devices running Minecraft. Currently, the developers are working on improving loading speeds – the release of the second part of the caves and cliffs update is just around the corner!
With the experimental features in Minecraft PE 1.17.30.23, several enhancements will be introduced:
- Finally, cave entrances without water have been added
- Introduced spaghetti caves – long and narrow corridors
- Implemented ore vein blocks
- Enhanced biome generation
- Transitions between biomes in Minecraft Bedrock have become smoother
Biomes can now be “multilayered.” This means that there can be a biome on the surface, an interesting cave beneath it, and perhaps another, more common cave below that. As expected, the beta version of Minecraft has fixed several bugs:
- Improved textures for the “Login” button
- Refined the shaking effect – with the @s command, it will now only affect one player
- Corrected the functionality of the /spawnpoint console command, even if a spawn point already exists
- Introduced the ability for crimson roots to grow on nylium when using bone meal
- Adjusted the golem spawning algorithm to match that of the Java edition
- Enhanced thorns enchantments – a full set of armor with this enchantment will repel mobs
- Fixed issues with the display of text characters on signs
- Players no longer take damage when falling onto scaffolding blocks on Android
- Resolved issues with structure blocks when changing their names
- Corrected the drop rates for fish and axolotls from buckets
- Pushing a cake with a piston (who even does that?!) will now drop a candle
- Fixed bugs related to campfire inventory saving
- Players are now pushed back a shorter distance by monster roars
- User-created blocks can once again be saved in the creative inventory
