The productivity of developers has reached new heights. In Minecraft 1.18.30.28, the Dark Depths have finally been introduced, along with a boat featuring a chest, which was showcased at Minecon 2019. As expected, various gameplay adjustments have also been implemented in the game.
New Features
After you download Minecraft for Android and enable experimental features, you will be able to explore the Dark Depths:
- The darkest area in the game
- Features a floor made of stone
- The only living mob in this location is the Warden (coming soon)
- Located very deep underground
Three years after its announcement, Minecraft introduced the boat with a chest:
- Acts as a floating storage unit
- To craft it, combine a boat and a chest on a crafting table
Fixes
In the beta version Minecraft 1.18.30.28 for Android, several changes and fixes have been implemented. Here’s what has been addressed or improved:
- Allay
- Sensitivity for the new controls
- Health regeneration for certain mobs
- Destruction of snow with a flower on top
- Hoglins
- Pressing the stealth button
- Character sprint resuming after an obstacle
Creators of mods will find the updated documentation useful. Additionally, if you hit a shield with an axe, it will “turn off” for a few seconds in Minecraft BE. Enjoy your gaming!
