The developers have released Minecraft PE 1.20.10.20, which includes new features. So, download the beta to test them out in the blocky world. The developers have also fixed a large number of bugs, made some changes, and achieved vanilla parity with the Java version.
What’s New in Minecraft Pocket Edition 1.20.10.20
In Minecraft Bedrock Edition, there is now a crawling feature:
- You can activate this option in the settings
- New animation is present
- Now you can crawl into recesses that are only one block high
- It has the same speed as sneaking
- Character can automatically switch to swimming mode
In the weekly test version of Minecraft on Android, a number of pleasant changes have been made, including:
- Replacing some blocks with a pickaxe
- Some sounds
- Soul soil – block sounds change with notes
- Snow display – now depends on camera position
- User interface
- Vibrations
To make Minecraft BE and Java identical, several changes have been made:
- Llamas will follow players who have hay
- Other animals will follow if carrying an apple
- After healing a zombie villager, loot will drop
- Removed reworking cobwebs into string
- Barrels are crafted from planks, not sticks
- No shovel needed to create boats
To enhance the gaming experience, Mojang has fixed a number of bugs. They have addressed:
- Xbox console on-screen keyboard
- Centering the hero while swimming
- Eating food while swimming
- Squatting – hero no longer pushes
- Replacement of some blocks
- Villagers interacting with new plants
- Textures for the water-filled cauldron
- Mud destruction with a shovel
- Placing blocks on snow layers
- Shield flashing during ray tracing gameplay
- Character’s sleep
- Inventory locking
